The United States liberation plan (last part)

Here is the official communication of the United States Armed Forces on its update of the liberation efforts. This includes Cebu, neighboring provinces and the islands of the Pacific crucial to the success of the liberation:

Philippines Formosa

Night patrol planes bombed HEITO air base and related installations, starting large fires in fuel storage and supply areas. Others by day damaged a coastal vessel and landing craft.

Borneo

Air patrols destroyed warehouses at BRUNEI BAY, bombed MIRI airdrome, and heavily damaged a coastal freighter, three auxiliaries, and a barge off the west coast.

Celebes

Fighters strafed small craft in the KENDARI area.

Moluccas

Fighters divebombed supply dumps at WASILE BAY and a barge depot on the west coast of HALMAHERA. Medium bombers attacked SAPAROEA, east of HAROEKOE, and installations at BOEIA, starting large fires. Air and naval patrols destroyed a barge.

Lesser Sundas

Air patrols harassed enemy installations on FLORES, TIMOR and in the TANIMBARS.

New Guinea

Our fighters bombed enemy outposts on WAIGEO ISLAND. Heavy and medium units dropped thirty-six tons of bombs on enemy supplies and antiaircraft positions near WEWAK, destroying an ammunition dump, with resulting explosions and fires.

Bismarck-Solomons

Our medium units and fighters, carrying thirty-five tons, attacked the enemy garrison at WIDE BAY, silenced antiaircraft defenses at RABAUL, cratered the KAVIENG airstrip, and effectively covered troop concentrations in BUKA and southern BOUGAINVILLE.
