Survivor can’t watch storm footage

BAD MEMORIES. Six years after super typhoon Yolanda devastated Tacloban City, a native who survived the ordeal checked her old phone for footage taken during the storm. She said she wasn’t able to finish watching because it brought back traumatic memories.

“Grabe, kusog kaayo to. Saba. Pero pagkagabii na, ngitngit, hilom kaayo. Daghan mga patay,” she told The EAR.

While she cannot watch the footage, she refuses to delete it from her old cellphone.
