SO CLOSE. An EAR source said he understands the heartbreak some candidates go through after the polls, especially those who came so close to winning. He recalled his own heartbreaking “election moment” a few years ago when he ran for a position in the student council.

After voting, the final count had him trailing his opponent by only two votes. Later, he came upon three friends who wanted to vote for him but were unable to do so because they missed the deadline.
