P800 for ride from MCIA to Colon

FOR SHAME. A cabbie tried to pull a fast one on a balikbayan from abroad. From the airport to Colon Street he showed her the meter showed P800. The balikbayan, not one to be cowed, ranted within earshot of policemen until the fare was brought down to P350, then finally P300.

“Mao man sad g’yud nakabutang sa metro, pero duda nako gikan to sa pasahero niya before nako. Wala niya gi-reset ang metro. Maro kaayo,” she told The EAR.
