Traffic timer
IRATE. Motorists and passengers alike have slammed the putting up of timers to control the traffic lights
in the South National Highway in Minglanilla township. A motorist told The Ear: "Kaniadtong way timer unya wa pa mag-function ang traffic lights sa Lipata ug Calajoan, okay pa man ang trapiko. Karon man hinuon maghuot naman ang mga sakyanan."
CONTROL. But a resident in Minglanilla said: "Di man pud mahimo nga dili kontrolon ang trapiko. Makatabang kaayo na ang timer kay duna may mga sakyanan nga mopadulong sa interior portion sa Minglanilla."
DISCIPLINE. Both the motorist and the resident were in agreement that what the town is lacking is the enforcement of traffic laws and local regulation of habal-habal and tricycles whose drivers have become the cause of traffic jams in some junctions and corners in Minglanilla.
