THE EAR - The Freeman

NO LIGHT. A woman who ekes out a living as a house helper lives with her four very young children in a shanty with no supply of water and electricity.

POST. To move about her dwelling at night, she relies on the streetlight. She thanks the lamppost when day fades into night.

HUSBAND. Her husband is in prison for allegedly stealing a neighbor's goat.
