Faulty brakes always the culprit

Motor vehicle brakes ("preno") continue to be blamed for the highway accidents killing many people. Erring drivers are always quick to lay the blame on faulty brakes. Because traffic cops can't be arrested and jailed and they (drivers) can always try to go scot free.
