Foiled dream

DREAM: Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, the former prime minister of Singapore who made Singapore what it is today, made many Filipinos dream of having a leader like him who was feared but admired worldwide. "Namatay na lang si Lee Kuan Yew, ang atong damgo nagpabilin lang nga damgo," said a church leader who called Mr. Lee the "best dictator" in the world.

ANOTHER ONE? The same church leader was heard saying: "Bisan sa damgo lang aduna untay another Lee Kuan Yew nga motumaw nga mahimong ehemplo sa bag-o tang leader human sa 2016 eleksyon."
