Before I run out of space, I want my friend and media colleague Quir L. de Gracia (he's Banat News correspondent in Naga City, Cebu) to know I share his sorrow on the passing away of his wife Josie Cuizon. They were so attached to each other for over 80 years. They were like bow and arrow, useless each without the other. Rest now in peace, Josie. God bless you.

The forthcoming Papal Visit is causing excitement everywhere including even in some non-Catholic churches. I heard a Protestant pastor say on radio during a press conference: “Why should Catholics find it strange for non-Catholics to feel excited about the coming of Pope Francis."

OVERHEARD: There is at present some controversy over what has been discovered at the New Bilibid Prison where luxurious living by some powerful prisoners has been going on. Comment by an ex-convict from the city jail: "Grabiha nila may dagkong tv pa sila, kami bisan selpon nga way tv gikonpiskar." Another comment: "Sa city jail bisan pisbol susihon pag-ayo kay basi'g dunay pusil."
