T-shirt wordings

ACCEPTABLE? An Ear informer said he saw a man wearing a black t-shirt with white letterings that said: "Sharpshooter. I can shoot anyone between the eyes." Our informer asked: "No law violated here? His companion also wanted to know: "Is this acceptable?"

LINCOLN. It will be recalled that years back a man wearing a t-shirt with the words: "I shot Abraham Lincoln" was nabbed in New York although Lincoln was shot, killed and already buried years before. Our Ear informer wants to know if there is no law regulating the messages and/or slogans printed on t-shirts other than those produced by reputable t-shirt makers.
