Lawmakers' privileges

PRIVILEGES. After reading the news that two of the three senators supposedly locked up for plunder have regained their privileges as lawmakers, some people hanging out in a posh hotel lobby were heard asking one another: "Tinuod ni?"

SALARY. The privileges these senators are getting back include withdrawing their salary and filing bills. Many issued "dissenting opinions" but preferred not to be quoted. "Lisud na tong maratsada ta," said one, still begging not to be identified.
