Tacloban evacuees

THE EAR - The Freeman

EMPLOYED. Two fathers from Tacloban who evacuated to Cebu with their wives soon after Yolanda when everything, they said, looked hopeless, are still in Cebu. One of them is working as a forklift operator while the other, his kumpadre, is employed as bodeguero. Their young wives, both college dropouts, work in separate shopping malls.

NO PLANS. They have no immediate plans to return home to Tacloban. They told an Ear informer they have no more homes to return to. "Sobrang pasalamat nila ni Sr. Sto. Niño ug sa mga Sugbuanon nga mitabang nilang makabangon," our Ear informer said.
