Phoning while motorbiking

PHONING BIKER. Is using the cellphone while driving a motorcycle not considered a traffic infraction or violation? A concerned citizen called up The Ear to ask. He said while standing on the sidewalk (Escario St.) he saw a motorcyclist using his mobile phone.

ENFORCER. He said there was a traffic enforcer beside him who saw the motorcyclist. "Di ba to traffic violation?" He said he asked the traffic enforcer who answered: "Ok ra man."

PROHIBIT. The same concerned citizen said using the cellphone while driving a motorcycle is dangerous and must be prohibited. "Kun maaksidente sila daghan maangin ug makabalda sa dagan sa trapik."
