CHEERING SQUAD. Pinoys working in Malaysia have formed a cheering squad for the Gilas Pilipinas playing in the FIBA World Cup. "They would gather in a public park during play dates of Gilas Pilipinas to cheer in front of a tv set," a Pinoy hospital worker told an Ear informer in Pasil, Cebu City, his brother.

 FREE TO CHEER. Our informer said Pinoy Gilas fans in Kuala Lumpur feel free to cheer for Pilipinas because Malaysia is not playing in the World Cup. "Otherwise, maikog kuno sila mo-cheer kon dunay team ang Malaysia sa World Cup," our informer said.
