DRIVERS. Did you know that there are Filipino women who work as motor vehicle drivers in the Middle East? Yes, there are. And some of them are from the Visayas.

SALARY. An Ear informer who was in Saudi Arabia and Dubai to gather materials for a book on Pinoys abroad said she had interviewed some Pinays working as drivers and were receiving better salaries than the domestic helpers. Most of them are family drivers.

AMBULANCE. A hospital in the United Arab Emirates used to have two women OFWs who drove ambulances but these women drivers are now in the United States.
