Pinoy boxing hero Anthony Villanueva, silver medalist in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, has passed away at 69. God bless his soul. Anthony had been waiting for someone to follow in his footsteps but no one did within his lifetime.

Nilo Custodia, who once tried his hand at newspapering but decided to shift to being a businessman, called up to say something about "China's bullying" of Phl. OVERHEARD. Six months have passed but many victims of Yolanda in Tacloban are still homeless. But one family of four who could not wait for the shelter to be built for them by the government went to a relative's mountain farm and built a nipa hut and went into vegetable farming from which they are now earning well from their produce. "Pahuwaton pa ta'g dugay, manikay-sikay na lang ta'g ato," said the husband who comes from a town in South Cebu.
