Drunk passengers

THE EAR - The Freeman

DRUNKARD. A drunken woman on board a Pardo bound jeepney was forced to get off by the driver when she became unruly and threw up. A passenger said drivers of public conveyances -- like PUJs, taxis and buses--should be allowed to refuse drunken  passengers to avoid causing inconvenience to other passengers.

SUMMONED. One PUJ driver recalls that he was summoned by the LTO (or was it the police?) to explain why he disallowed a drunk ("nagmaoy sa kahubog") to ride in his jeep which he did upon complaint of the other passengers.
