Flowers for mother

FLOWERS. May 11 is Mother's Day. An owner of a flower shop told an Ear informer: It's sad that more young people buy flowers on Valentine's Day than on Mother's Day."

SWEETHEARTS. The same florist said young people, mostly students, buy flowers for their sweethearts. "My roses, including the most expensive ones, are sold out quick on Valentine's Day," she said, "while flower buyers on Mother's Day are fewer."
