No respect

RESPECT.  An old lady, maybe in her 80s, was heard speaking to a priest in front of the Santo Niño Basilica. She said: "Ang mga batan-on karon wa nay respeto sa atong simbahan." Asked why, she said: "Di na gani moyukbo (genuflect) inig-agi atubangan sa altar mura lag naglakaw sa aseras sa Colon."

PICTURE-TAKING.  The old woman went on to say that the young ones today just take for granted the "Sanctity" of the altar. "Wa na kanila ang ka sagrado sa altar diin nahimutang ang yukaristiya. Sigi lag panguhag hulagway gamit ilang selpon." The priest she was talking to said nothing, according to an Ear informer.
