Mestizos

MESTIZOS. A history professor asked our Ear informer if he met or seen any mestizos (like the mestizos in our social circles) among the Pinoy Moros. The professor said you can't find any "mestizo Americano" or "mestizo Katsila" among the Moros.

REASON. He said the reason is that the Pinoy Moros were never colonized — or they refused to be colonized — by the Westerners. So, he explained, there were no inter-marriages between the Moros and the colonizers from the Western world.
