Leyteño balikbayan

BALIKBAYAN.  A Leyteño balikbayan who came home to see for himself the "condition of Tacloban" two months after Yolanda, shed tears upon reaching the place where the family house once stood. "I could not even locate the exact place of our residence," he told a friend who accompanied him from Manila to Tacloban.

JUST WAIT. The balikbayan went to the mayor's office to inquire when, probably, could Tacloban's reconstruction begin. He was told to "just wait." He has decided to return to the States and try to forget what he saw in Tacloban.
