Abusing the Phl flag

PHL FLAG. Can anyone, just anyone, print or patch the Philippine flag on anyone's garment like jacket, shirt or t-shirt? This question was asked by an Ear reader who said there must be a law regulating the printing of the Phl flag on any garment.

DRUNK BULLY. The Ear reader said he recently saw a drunken man bullying a barbecue vendor. "Ang sleeveless shirt sa maong hubog dunay naka-imprinta nga Phl flag sa buko-buko dako ra kaayo," he said. There was another time, he said, when he saw a Phl flag patch on the knee of a young man's jeans.
