A socking crime

STOLEN SOCKS. A woman saw rubber shoes on discount at a department store and decided to try some on. She took off her socks and tried on several pairs. The next thing she realized, her socks were nowhere to be found. She was forced to go home sock-less.

FETISH? Her officemates had several theories why they disappeared:

1.) Someone really needed those socks and stole them.

2.) Someone accidentally took her socks by mistake.

3.) Someone had a crush on her and waited until she could take off her socks so he could steal them.
