I remember Terry Bolo, a former UV Green Lancer who later became a top officer in the US Army. Terry visited me one day in my office at The FREEMAN and gifted me with a pack of meal which the US soldiers eat even when they get lost in the jungle. The pack contained a no-cook meal and even hot water for coffee. This came to my mind when I read the news about the DOST's no-cook pack for disaster victims.

OVERHEARD. Some teachers, after reading the news that the Philippines rates high among countries hit by population explosion, said the RH Law might help in reducing the explosion. Commented one teacher: “Sagdi na lang nang population explotion oy, mao may gusto sa uban.” She refused to elaborate.
