Church dress code

BANNED. A woman of about 50 wearing short-shorts was advised by the security guard in a Catholic church to follow the church’s dress code (“No shorts for women,” among other rules.) “Kadto rang gisulti ko niya, grabe nang sukoa, grabeng pamalikas sa mga pari sa among simbahan,” the guard told an Ear informer.

LAUGHING STOCK. The guard said aside from asking the woman to observe the dress code, “dili sad ko buot nga himoon siyang laughing stock tungod sa iyang pamiste nga wa mahiangay sa iyang edad.” It was learned that the woman transferred to another church where she was allowed to get in but was not permitted to take Holy Communion.
