Young extortionists

YOUNG EXTORTIONISTS. The parents of a 13-year-old boy studying in a public school in Cebu pulled out their son from the school and transferred him to a private school in another place because of some young extortionists harassing the son. The boy told his parents there were boys a little older than he is who had been asking money from him threatening to box him if he refused to give.

PEACEFUL. An Ear informer said the parents, being people of peace, didn’t want to cause trouble to school officials so they just transferred their son to a private school without giving the main reason why. The family is not from Cebu and just happened to be here because the father was assigned here by the firm he works for.
