COSTUME. Students from elementary and high school, as well as their teachers, are scrambling to buy or borrow Filipino costumes for the culmination of the Buwan ng Wika, said an Ear informer. “Sa akong nahibaw-an, sa buwan ra gyud sa Agosto mosikat ang mga nagkalain laing Filipino costumes. Halin kaayo ang mga baro’t saya, mga barong tagalog, malong, ug uban pa o mangukay gyud sa kaban aron naay costume,” he said.

NICE TO LOOK AT. The informer said that school children in national costumes are a beautiful sight. “Nindot kaayo sila tan-awn. Maayo unta ug ang mga dagko na ug wala na nag eskwela manul-ob sad og national attire bisan makausa lang gud sa usa ka tuig,” the informer, who is already 85 years old, added.
