Lechon is no-no to this lechonero's family members

THE EAR - The Philippine Star

PARTY SANS LECHON. Nanding (not his real name) is a lechon businessman who roasts an average of 15 pigs a week. But in parties celebrated by members of his family no lechon is served, not even a pig’s tail. He doesn’t want, he said, to be blamed for the bad health of his kin caused by his lechon.

EXCEPTION. Be that as it may, non-relative guests who want to bring in lechon by the kilo may do so, this according to an Ear informer. “Puwede ra moda ang bisita sa ilang inasal apan sa laing lechonero kini paliton,” the Ear informer said. “Tagsaon ra ning negosyante si Nanding.”
