Dismayed tree-planter

TREE PLANTER DISMAYED.   A student who joined a group of fellow students in a tree-planting activity some five years ago told an Ear informer how dismayed he was when he went to the tree-planting site and found not a tree standing. “Wa gyuy nabuhi sa among gipananum,” the student who came home from Australia last week said.

WHERE HAVE ALL THE TREES GONE? The student, now an x-ray technician, said that while abroad, he was thinking about the three trees he planted. He was shocked to see none of the many trees he and his classmates had planted met him. “Nagda pa ko’g picnic tent nga ako untang i-pitch ilawom sa punoan sa kahoy nga akong gitanum five years ago,” he said shaking his head.
