High-rise condos not for the homeless poor

HOMES FOR THE POOR. An official of a religious organization frowns on builders of multi-storied buildings saying: “What our society needs are homes for the poor.” He said those multi-storied condominiums are only for the rich who “are not homeless but just want more comfortable homes to live in.”

IF ONLY. The same official said “if only those builders of big condominiums have hearts for the poor there would perhaps be no more homeless people from the slums.” But he accepted the reality that the builders of those high-rise buildings are in business and “they have to get back what they put in.”
