BISDAK IN MANILA. Two Cebuanos went shopping in Manila. One of them, our informer, said they were conversing in Cebuano about how cheap the items are compared to the ones sold in Cebu. “Kabarato diri oi. Kung daghan pa lang ko og kwarta, pakyawon ko ni,” said one.

KASABOT DIAY. “Nagsige ra gyud mi og tabi, nagtoo nga wa kasabot ang mga tindera,” said the informer. “Nakurat na lang mi nga nisabat man ang usa ka tindera. ‘Daghana lang gud og palit mam para madako dako sad among kita,’ ingon sa tindera,” the informer added. “Kasabot pala. Hehehe,” she laughed.
