This Kano spends time, money to see sepak takraw

ACTION-FULL EVENT. A long-time American resident of South Cebu spent time and money to be in Cebu City for the National PRISAA sports event to witness just one athletic discipline: Sepak Takraw.

He told a sports reporter: “If you want to see real sports action, watch sepak takraw.” He also went to Mindanao early this year for another athletic event just to watch his favorite sport.

ACROBATIC SKILLS. This American sports lover says in sepak takraw the public is entertained by the players’ acrobatic skills “which we don’t see in other sports.” He also said that as a photography bug, some of his shots of sepak takraw games have won prizes in sports photo contests abroad.
