The “If-you-can’t-stand-the-heat-get-out-of-the-kitchen” editorial in Saturday’s paper was excellent.

You are quoting former US President Harry S. Truman who was known for his decisiveness and common sense.

The same respect should be given to the administrators at St. Theresa’s College whose actions gave a valuable lesson to their graduating students—stand for something or you will fall for anything.

I don’t know who said this but another Harry S. Truman quote could also be applied — the buck stops here. John H. Pope, [email protected]
