"One Visayas" proposed

BRIDGES PLAN WELCOMED. The plan to link Central and Eastern Visayas with bridges is welcomed by businessmen and students from province outside of Cebu. A student leader from Leyte (Tacloban) says the move if it materializes would hasten the growth of the two regions and enhance the understanding of people in the two regions. The same opinion was aired by a livestock trader from Leyte.

 “ONE VISAYAS”. The plan would involve the linking with bridges of Cebu and Bohol and Bohol and Leyte. The Department of Public works and Highways has already approved the idea and is said to be now working on the mechanics of its implementation.
