High school graduates wear simple grad clothes

SIMPLE GRADUATION. The two local exclusive girl schools in the city require their high school graduates to wear only their daily school uniforms for their commencement exercises. “And yet, come to think of it, these are children of well-off families,” a mediaman was heard saying.

IN OTHER SCHOOLS. In other schools, including the public high schools, there are graduates wearing togas or gowns. This according to the same mediaman. The mother of one of the public school graduates was heard saying: “Nganong magbuot man mo ... wa lay but-anay gud.”
