Jai-alai games on air

JAI-ALLOWED ALLOWED. When there was an attempt to revive jai-alai in Manila, the government banned it. But the government is allowing the operation of the jai-alai fronton in Cagayan Valley. Not only that, broadcasting of the games is allowed.

QUESTIONS. The Ear has received questions from some readers asking why the jai-alai fronton in Cagayan Valley is allowed. They want to know: “What’s the difference between the banned jai-alai fronton and the permitted fronton in Cagayan.”
