Ambulant vendors' gripe

STREETFOOD VENDOR.A woman selling fried chicken parts (wings, neck, legs) on Colon St. was forced to move to another vending area because, she told an Ear informer, some “government men” kept asking for “free samples.” The woman told our informer: “Patay gamay tang negosyo.”

OTHER VENDORS. The woman said there are many other ambulant vendors on Colon St. who have to play ball with the “hustlers” (her word) for fear of being driven away if they (vendors) don’t give.
