Two colored foreigners

- The Ear -

Two colored foreigners, obviously from the Middle East, took a passenger jeep at about 2:00 pm last December 13 at the corner of Tres de Abril and N. Bacalso Avenue bound for Talisay. As soon as they were already inside, all the other passengers covered their noses with their hankies. Because the smell of the two foreigners were so bad, that at least two of the other passengers told the driver to stop because they wanted to get out of the PUJ. When the two foreigners got out of the PUJ at the Gaisano Fiesta Mall, all the other passengers chorused: “SALAMAT! Kana na sang mga customer sa Gaisano manggawas tungod ninyo!” The foreigners never understood. They could not speak and understand English and the Visayan.

HER MARITAL NAME. A lady lawyer and a daughter of a lady politician kept on denying that she had dropped the family name of her husband. But the anchorman-station manager of this big radio station, who is very close to her, kept on teasing her during a Christmas party. She still denied. “Wa tangtanga uy..Dungagan pa man gani…” The lady lawyer said.
