Hungry little girl says "thank you" for the gifts

GRATEFUL CHILD. At the gate of a seminary in Punta Princesa stood a little girl with a plastic pail full of goodies. She was in tears. A priest saw her and asked why she was crying when she already had a pail full of gifts. The girl said she was waiting for someone from the seminary to thank him for the gifts she had received.

HUNGRY. The little girl said she was very thankful because the family didn’t have much to eat for two days prior to Christmas day. “Daghan kaayong salamat, Padre, kay naa na mi makaon ning adlaw sa Pasko,” the girl said.
