Illegal dumpsite

GARBAGE. People living near a vacant lot in a barangay in Lapu-Lapu City are complaining, said an Ear informer, about garbage being dumped into the said vacant lot. “Companies belonging to a particular area in the city are using the vacant lot as their dumpsite. Di ba, di man na pwede? The lot is not designated by the city as a dumpsite,” said the informer.

DISEASES. Already, the informer said, some residents are complaining of getting sick because of the smelly garbage in the neighboring lot. “Basin mao nang sige na lang pangatol akong panit kay tungod anang basura diha sa duol,” said one of the residents.
