Go after dogs defecating in public places, reader says

NOT JUST THE RABIES. A sanitation advocate says city health workers should not just campaign against stray dogs for rabies prevention but also against the same stray dogs who defecate in public places. “These dogs are spreading diseases through their waste,” she told The Ear.

BAD IMPRESSION. The same sanitation advocate said a pile of dog shit on the road, especially on a well-paved road, gives visitors to our city a bad impression. In Singapore, she said, dogs defecating in public places would cause the health officials to fine the dog owners.
