This senior citizen has never availed himself of discounts

NEVER SINCE. An 84-year-old retired government employee told friends during a social gathering that he has never availed himself of the discounts supposed to be enjoyed by him under the law. “Never since the passage of the law granting benefits to senior citizens have I benefited from it,” he said. “Kaduha unta ko misuway avail sa diskuwento apan nahayblad ra ko,” he said. HIS RIGHT. This senior citizen said he was told by friends to fight for his right. But he said: “Kanang pila ka sentabos o ba kaha pila ka pesos nga diskuwento is not worth fighting for let alone dying for.”
