Pajero scares two students

- The Ear -

SCARED STIFF. While texting in front of a store in Tabunok, Talisay City, not long ago, two students saw a Pajero stop near them because of heavy traffic. One of the students saw the vehicle and got scared. "Dagan, Bay, dagan," he told his friend. They ran. Asked by someone why they looked scared, the two chorused: "Naa si Joavan." But the controversial Jaovan wasn't there. The Pajero was owned by a Chinese trader.

RAISED PROPERTY PRICE. A landowner in Consolacion town has been trying to sell his property for a few million pesos. No takers. When he heard that a shopping mall would be constructed not far from his property, he raised the price of his land to triple. "Dihay mopalit na unta sa yuta niatras oy," an Ear informer said.
