Relative calls the mayor Mamon-hearted

WHAT BRINK OF RUIN? In Garry B. Lao's story about another blast made by Rep. Tom Osmeña against Mayor Mike Rama, our reporter wrote that the "partnership" between Osmeña and Rama appears to be "on brink of ruin" (TF, Dec. 13/10). What "brink"? asked a reader. The partnership is already ruined, the reader said. "No thanks to Osmeña's meddling," said a prominent political observer.

ANGRY RELATIVE. A relative of Mayor Rama was heard to have aired his anger at the mayor "for his being mamon-hearted." The relative (it could not be ascertained if the relative is close or a distant one) said "if Mike does not fight back and just allows himself to be pushed around" he would campaign for the holding of recall proceedings against his kin.
