American develops taste for tuba

TWO KINGS AND A “QUEEN”. A trio of performers caroling stores along a busy highway caught the attention of passersby, but not because of their great performance. They happened to put on a performance in a store just beside a public school as the dismissal bell sounded. And school kids who witnessed the performance quickly scampered off scandalized.

After being jilted by a Filipina he was courting, an American let himself be taken by istambays to a sari-sari store to drink tuba to drown his sorrows. At first he did not like it, but as he let his sorrow take over he eventually learned to appreciate it. Now the istambays say the foreigner loves tuba so much he now goes to the store to drink it by himself and he does not need a sob reason to do so. He also told them he has not had whisky or beer for a while now, just tuba.
