One more complaint against "misplaced" toilets

- The Ear -

RESTROOMS AGAIN. The Ear has again received a complaint against some multi-floored stores whose restrooms are on the top floor and could not a easily located. This time the complainant is not a foreigner but a local middle-aged matron. She reported to The Ear by phone that she had the urge to answer nature’s call but could not find the restroom. “Ingon sa tindera tua sa third floor pero bisan siya wa katoltol asa dapit sa third floor,” the woman in her 50s said.

LAW NEEDED. The woman said there ought to be a law requiring all stores to have toilets on every floor. In Tokyo, she said, some departments have three or four toilets on every floor. (It will be recalled that The Ear once published an almost similar complaint by another reader. The result was zero.)
