Beware of these text scams

CONGRATS. Many text scams are entering your cellphones nowadays. One of them tells you that you won something. This is clearly a text scam. Do not text back if you get a message like this: “Congrats! Your cell no. won (800,000 Php) Pamaskong handog ng PCSO 76th anniversary. Raffle promo, DTI-NCR permit #0342 series of 2010. To claim your prize, call now! Atty. Roland A. Coztudio (head officer) at this number 0905860...”

HOW ARE YOU? Another text scam targets those who have family and friends working abroad. But this texter just wants you to send load to this scammer. Just delete it, if you get a text like this: “Musta na kayo dyan? Eto na bago ko roaming #. Nasira kasi dati. Dito nyo nalang ako itext. Syanga pala, magpalada ako dyan ng pera at package sa Dec20. Pakiloadan nyo muna me ng 300, wala lang makuhanan dito ng load. Miss you all. Txtbak.”
