Brazen rugby boys harass pedestrians
RUDE BOYS. A couple of nurses were waiting for the stoplight to change when a group of young street urchins, appearing to be high on industrial glue, came and insisted on touching their white uniforms. At first the two waved them off with their umbrellas but the boys kept coming back to them, feeling bolder each time they were shooed off. A security guard of a nearby establishment finally succeeded in sending them away after threatening them with his nightstick.
GROWING NUMBER. The guard later said it has become his “extra” duty to watch out for unruly boys under the influence of volatile substances who frequent his area and harass passers-by. But he also voiced concern because while he is getting older, the boys are yet approaching puberty and may soon have revenge against him in mind. He also said another thing that concerns him is that their numbers seem to grow as time passes by.
