On "Compostela Mess"

This has reference to the news item in today's issue of The FREEMAN on the "Compostela Mess", wherein I am reported to have said "Durano is deceiving the people". Also the same statement attributed to me was your paper's headline on September 25, 2010.

I would like to put on record that I never said that Congressman Ramon "Red" Durano IV deceived the people. All I did was to present facts and information that would refute the statement of Congressman Durano that the Municipality of Compostela is on the brink of bankruptcy, that the delivery of basic services suffers, and that the peace and order is deteriorating.
