World Laughter Day sometime last May unheard of in Pinas?

LAUGHTER DAY. Last May, the World Laughter Day was celebrated worldwide. The celebration just came and went without being noticed by a lot of people in the Philippines. The manager of a private firm said to The Ear: “Of course, no one cared about the observance of that day. Who can afford to laugh amid the hardship we are encountering in our daily life?”

NO ONE’S LAUGHING. People are not anymore saying; “Laugh and the world laughs with you.” A photojournalist said to The Ear: “These days the world doesn’t laugh with us anymore. It laughs at us.” And sometimes it says: “Why do you laugh? What’s funny?”
